Cabinet Installation Begins
 The
plumber and electrician came out to realign the gas line and
electrical conduit that serve the cooktop island so they won't
interfere with the drawers.

Then the cabinet installers, Craig and his son Derek, set up all
their tools and began setting the toekick in the southwest corner.
By day's end, they had installed most of the base cabinets along the
south wall.
In addition, they began placing the toekick base around the west and
north walls.
The
blind corner unit is a nifty invention, but unfortunately, it's sized
for European-style cabinets. Therefore, we'll still end up with some
unused space in the far reaches of the corner.
