¡Peligro!

The day started with the arrival of a two-man asbestos abatement crew from Alliance Environmental Group. They were here to remove the asbestos-wrapped hot water pipes from the attic above the kitchen, bar, and entry hall. They set up an enclosed work area with a ventilation system, donned the tyvek suits and then removed the old pipe. When they were done, they wrapped up their suits in bags marked "Danger," ready to go to a special disposal facility along with the pipes.

Dining Room

While Virginia (architect), Bob Sr. (contractor), Ken (of Cabinet Creations), Jan and Carl held a marathon meeting to discuss the cabinets and other matters, Bob Jr. and John finished framing in the dining room extension.
