Careful Demolition

Today was the day to remove cabinets, appliances, and other items to be preserved. We'll use some in the garage; others will find a home at Big Bear and, perhaps, elsewhere. Tomorrow the "knuckle-dragging gorillas" come in to knock down what's left.

Bar/Darkroom

They began removing cabinets, mainly in an effort to extract the file cabinet. At the end of the day, they sealed up the door to the entry hall (and the door between the kitchen and dining room) to seal in most of the dust during tomorrow's destruction derby.

Kitchen

The day began with John and Bobby carefully removing cabinets. Meanwhile, a plumber cut back all the pipes in the wall and capped them. By day's end, most cabinets were gone—and several were successfully removed intact.
